Weekly Wrap Up - 3/12/17
It's taken me a long while to get to this one but I finally have some time before today's class, kinda.
- 5 days, 23.8 miles. Still getting my lungs to catch up to what my legs want to do. Plus the heat came back with a vengeance this past week so moving mostly everything to 7pm/9pm runs will help. Luckily my target 1/2 marathon isn't til August so I've got plenty of time
- Down to 180 as of today. My goal weight for running purposes was always 155 but I'll settle for anything that allows me to run at paces I used to. The weight loss surprises me (it shouldn't) because I feel like I'm eating like a horse. Being super busy all the time definitely has it's advantages.
- I'm way overbooked and have a huge problem saying no to things so I decided that a few things had to be on my terms for me to move forward. Some will work, others won't. I'm ok with this as it brings me closer to "balance" (f*ck that sounds new agey).
- My aunt is slowly on the mend. Other family health issues (as far as I know) aren't improving. I'm trying to stay positive while realizing that I'm 100 miles away and can't exactly pick up and help whenever I want.
- Obligatory "KIDS ARE FREAKING HARD" complaint. They're also a ton of fun.
- Eh, that's all I got. Had to let daily blogging go for a while but I'll be here a couple times a week.
