Weekly Wrap Up - 3/12/17

It's taken me a long while to get to this one but I finally have some time before today's class, kinda.

  1. 5 days, 23.8 miles. Still getting my lungs to catch up to what my legs want to do. Plus the heat came back with a vengeance this past week so moving mostly everything to 7pm/9pm runs will help. Luckily my target 1/2 marathon isn't til August so I've got plenty of time
  2. Down to 180 as of today. My goal weight for running purposes was always 155 but I'll settle for anything that allows me to run at paces I used to. The weight loss surprises me (it shouldn't) because I feel like I'm eating like a horse. Being super busy all the time definitely has it's advantages.
  3. I'm way overbooked and have a huge problem saying no to things so I decided that a few things had to be on my terms for me to move forward. Some will work, others won't. I'm ok with this as it brings me closer to "balance" (f*ck that sounds new agey).
  4. My aunt is slowly on the mend. Other family health issues (as far as I know) aren't improving. I'm trying to stay positive while realizing that I'm 100 miles away and can't exactly pick up and help whenever I want.
  5. Obligatory "KIDS ARE FREAKING HARD" complaint. They're also a ton of fun.
  6. Eh, that's all I got. Had to let daily blogging go for a while but I'll be here a couple times a week.
