1. Nutrition - 2 cups BPC, 3 eggs cooked in butter, 2 slices of bacon for breakfast, 2 cheese hot dogs for lunch, tilapia with mushrooms and lemon sauce, broccoli and cauliflower with butter, squash and spinach with feta cheese for dinner. Drank a Gen UCAN vanilla shake on the way out to the Summer Series and snacked on 2 cheese hot dogs around 10pm.2. Exercise - Ran the BTC Summer Series 5k #1 in a time of 21:30 which is about two mins slower than my current PR in the distance. I was shocked that I ran that fast cause I was expecting closer to 23 or 24 minutes. Even though I only have two minutes to clear to start approaching my PR I know it's gonna be a tough battle. Two minutes in a 5k is a very large amount. I've got my work cut out for me. In addition to the race tonight I also ran nearly 8 miles of general aerobic work today. Total for today is 11 miles.3. Life - Everything today was basically geared towards running the summer series this evening. Low key but large breakfast for me and June, light jog when Alyssa got home from work, nap in the late afternoon then drive out to CALM for the race. Was nice to see some old runner friends out there as well as meet a few new peeps too. The race didn't start on time so it was definitely cooler tonight. Who knows how it'll be in two weeks. I'm really excited for the rest of the summer.
